Amanda Sloan – Hospital Manager

Originally from Downers Grove, IL, I began my career in veterinary medicine in 2003. My passion for helping both animals and people led me to work as a veterinary assistant and manager at a hospital group in New York City until 2007.

I joined the Presidio Way team as a veterinary assistant in 2007 and transitioned into the role of hospital manager in 2015. I truly love the balance of managing the day-to-day functions of our hospital while still having the opportunity to work closely with patients. Both the well-being of the animals and the experience of their people are top priorities for me, and I’m dedicated to creating a compassionate, welcoming environment for everyone.

When I’m not at the hospital, you can find me baking, hiking, strumming my guitar, and spending time with my wife and our tiny dogs.
